Wernicke House

The Wernicke house was designed for two school teachers, with interior spaces arranged in an open plan integrated with living, kitchen, and dining areas. From BGA text:

“The plan of this small house is ….an openly planned living-dining wing partially divided by a form of storage wall… for easy maintenance and communication between areas. This one-story residence was constructed with steel framing. The exterior walls were glass and brick masonry. The house contained two bedrooms, a combination living room, dining room, kitchen, and one bath.”
